Job Summary

Responsible in providing technical advice, quotation, underwriting and complying with company/group guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Underwriting

• To assess and underwrite all line of Business but mainly for Property and Engineering Lines of Business (“LoB“).
• To underwrite and review all renewals and new businesses using the rating tools provided by Allianz and to monitor rate adequacy and rate change across the operational accounts.
• To calculate retention and accumulation of risk based on the Company’s capacity and underwriting authority grid.
• To work closely with the Supervisor(s) on all referrals. To undertake all necessary preparatory work as guided and directed.
