The Senior Mining Engineer is a hands‑on technical leader responsible for both delivering key mine planning outputs and managing a small team of engineers. Approximately 60 % of the role involves completing planning activities directly, including development designs, production planning (stope authorities, drill & blast designs), and short‑term scheduling. The remaining 40 % focuses on overseeing team deliverables, ensuring alignment with monthly objectives, and mentoring a team of 3 – 4 engineers across short‑term planning, development, and production. The role requires close collaboration with Geotechnical, survey, and operations teams to ensure safe, efficient execution of the weekly and monthly mine plans.
