The Senior Mining Engineer is a hands‑on technical leader responsible for both delivering key mine planning outputs and managing a small team of engineers. Approximately 60% of the role involves completing planning activities directly, including development designs, production planning (stope authorities, drill & blast designs), and short‑term scheduling. The remaining 40% focuses on overseeing team deliverables, ensuring alignment with monthly objectives, and mentoring a team of 3–4 engineers across short‑term planning, development, and production. The role requires close collaboration with Geotechnical, survey, and operations teams to ensure safe, efficient execution of the weekly and monthly mine plans.
