Position Overview
Essential Functions
:
Maintains complex computer simulation software (EMS, DTS, etc.) used for analyses in support of system adequacy evaluations, technical analysis of system reliability during equipment outages and monitoring/evaluating the reliability of the electric system on a real-time basis with a high level of convergence/solution confidence including the development and production of reports documenting EMS software performance.Develops new or refined processes and/or methods to monitor and report discrepancies between system telemetry and EMS solutions to improve the accuracy of system telemetry.Trains the Transmission System Operators in the use of EMS applications.Designs, constructs and implements major/complex systems requiring a high degree of responsibility and appreciable latitude for independent action and decision making to fit the Company’s objectives, conforming to industry standards and corporate transmission plan...
