Position Overview
Job Responsibilities
Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Hazard and Risk Assessment: Identify potential environmental, health, and safety hazards in the workplace and conduct risk assessments to evaluate and mitigate these risks. Coordinate the hazardous waste removal and handling procedures. Assist in the administration with customer inquiries on shipping, handling, and disposal of chemicals. Prepare Safety Data Sheet (SDS), master labels and other documentation as needed.Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees and management on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance safety awareness and assist in generating literature for orders, SDS, etc.Incident Management: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive measure...
