Responsibilities

• Drive electrical and optical characterisation of devices and arrays, uncovering performance at the smallest scale through detailed measurement and analysis.
• Get hands‑on with manual and semi‑automated probe stations, directly validating device behaviour and bridging the gap between lab and production.
• Capture and interpret key performance indicators including IV behaviour, optical output, uniformity, efficiency, and defectivity.
• Lead and support accelerated life testing and reliability studies, pushing devices to their limits to understand real‑world performance.
• Investigate degradation pathways and failure mechanisms, turning data into insight on how and why devices evolve over time.
• Track and interpret long‑term stability trends, ensuring robust performance from lab to production scale.
