Senior Design Manager – Fixed Term Contract – Guildford

An opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager to join the team at Galliford Try. Ideally, you will be based in or around the Guildford area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.

What you will be doing:

• Managing the relationships with the client, subcontractors, project and design teams for the efficient development and delivery of designs on a project or bid.
• Lead the design process in accordance with the Galliford Try Building Management System.
• Apply and monitor compliance with CDM 2015 and the principle of prevention and safety in design.
• Identify and mitigate design risk and realise opportunities through all stages of a bid or project.
• Assist in the selections of designers for a project and ensure competency checks are undertaken.
