Position Overview

We are pleased to be working with a well‑established Scottish law firm that is recruiting a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its Private Client team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take on a senior, client‑facing role within a supportive and reputable department known for delivering quality legal advice.

The role will involve working on a broad range of private client matters, including:

  • Handling wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts, and wider estate planning
  • Managing a varied personal client caseload with minimal supervision
  • Providing clear, empathetic advice and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting the department through mentoring, internal collaboration, and high‑quality service delivery
