What you’ll do

• Comply with our UKAS ISO 17025:2017 for all accredited methods and procedures and where possible apply those criteria to other non-accredited activities.
• Perform all wet chemistry techniques.
• Prepare and analyze samples for vitamins (HPLC), mineral analysis (ICP) and enzyme analysis.
• Analyze all samples by NIR (Raw material ID, Premix ID, Feeds and Forages).
• Assist Laboratory Managers in the effective performance of their duties.
• Organize staff resources for sample preparation and NIR analysis.
• Train and supervise laboratory technicians in the use of NIRS and associated sample preparation techniques, ensuring correct procedures are adhered to.
• Maintain all calibration and quality control, ensuring accurate correlation with both internal and external wet chemistry techniques.
• Enter data for dry forage analysis and results requiring manual entry into the LIMS.
