Senior Accountant
Location: Ripon (3 days per week) & Leyburn (2 days per week)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a friendly and growing accountancy practice supporting a varied portfolio of clients.
This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and is confident managing a broad range of responsibilities within a practice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Preparation and submission of VAT returns, including Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance
Preparation of personal and business tax returns
Handling client queries and providing practical accounting support
Assisting with payroll processing (desirable)
Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations
