An opportunity to join Calderdale’s Specialist Inclusion Team, supporting Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to access their education and live full and aspirational lives. The SEND & Inclusion Team is part of the Borough’s Children and Young People’s Service and is committed to ensuring educational inclusion and best outcomes for every child and young person.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist support to autistic children and young people across the Early Years, Primary and Secondary phases.
• Provide interventions and guidance to children aged 5–25 years as part of the Autism Outreach Team.
• Work under the direction and close collaboration with an assigned Autism Outreach Teacher.
• Develop professional relationships with children, families and multi-agency professionals to work together towards agreed outcomes.
