At Scraptoft Valley Primary School we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to become our Send Provision Base Teacher (Internal Alternative Provision). We are a well-established, well-resourced, and continually evolving provision at the heart of our school community. We are looking for a qualified teacher who has successfully completed their ECT induction years and preferably with SEND experience.

Our provision supports predominantly in Reception to Year 2 with significant speech, language and communication needs. Many of our pupils are pre-verbal, have diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and hold Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) while awaiting specialist placements. The classroom accommodates 12 pupils, offering a much smaller learning environment than a typical class of 30.
