Job Title: SEN 1:1 support

Job Purpose

To support the educational, personal and social development of pupils under the direction of teaching staff. The postholder will deliver targeted academic and pastoral support, promote inclusion, and ensure pupils’ safety and wellbeing throughout the school day, including during lunchtime supervision.

Teaching and Learning Support

• Provide 1:1 and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs.
• Implement tailored strategies to enable pupils to access the curriculum and achieve individual targets.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of interventions, including literacy, numeracy and social skills programmes.
