District Primary Purpose: To assist and promote La Joya ISD in implementing a rigorous curriculum/instructional program that supports student success and achievement.

Department Primary Purpose: Under general supervision, provide security and protection for students, staff, and school property.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED Certified as a Security officer, or watchman (preferred) Must be at least 21 years old due to potential assignments to the high schools.
