Position Overview
Background
FDLE Information Security is responsible for interpreting state mandates such as rules or statutes in addition to the FBI CJIS Security policy and drafting appropriate policies, procedures or implementations to comply with those rules as it relates to the FDLE ecosystem. The FDLE information security team researches, troubleshoots, provides support and configures security controls daily.
Description of Major Duties & Deliverables
FDLE requires the services of one Security Analyst to work under the direction of FDLE's Network Supervisor to assist in developing Continuity of Operation (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for all identified agency systems. The Security Analyst is expected to work with our staff to perform research, policy creation, conduct tabletop exercises and support staff in transferring knowledge in these areas.
