• Number of Beds: 54
• 11 beds on a busy and dedicated ortho/spine unit
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 for RNs; 1:12-15 for PCTs
• RN/LPN team would have 10 total. Each hall has 2-3 RNs/1 LPN (as staffing/census allows) and 1-2 PCTs.
• Unit staffing description: Unit secretaries until 8p during weekdays. Techs and Externs availability. RN/LPN teams.
• Type of equipment: Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, continuous pulse ox, specialty beds, transfer equipment, wound vacs, chest tubes, NG and feeding tubes, etc.
