Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 28 bed Cardiovascular Care Unit that takes acute cardiac patients including cath lab patients (ablations, pfoclosures, stents, pacers, etc). We also take stroke patients and other PCU overflow as needed. We are highly focused on safety and quality and have high expectations for documentation compliance and processes related to central lines/foleys/cdiff and other HAIs. We pride ourselves on our team work and support from our charge nurses. Techs staff the unit as well.
