Job Description Summary

At STEMCELL Technologies, we are developing high-throughput cell sorting technologies for clinical and research applications. We seek a Scientist with expertise in microfluidics to lead the design, optimisation, and testing of our MEMS‑based sorting chips and fluidic cartridges, built on our patented VACS technology.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out experiments and simulations to support the development and optimisation of next‑generation microfluidic sorting chips and fluidic cartridges.
• Analyse experimental and simulation data, draw conclusions, and recommend next steps within the scope of assigned work.
• Use numerical simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS, OpenFOAM) to model chip performance and de‑risk designs, and contribute technical input to chip design, process decisions, and validation activities.
• Write and run Python scripts for test automation and data analysis.
