Job Purpose: The school counsellor will work closely with the school’s wellbeing and leadership team in planning and implementing a counselling system for students for the assigned school or assigned phases across the school.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality counselling intervention to students experiencing a wide range of emotional problems ensuring equality of access.
• Provide support, guidance and advice to parents, carers, and the school.
• Liaise with staff to ensure that the pupils receive the support they need.
• Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people.
• Conduct case consultations to school personnel and parents.
