Position SummaryThe Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) provides direct support services to students with communication disorders under the supervision of a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. The SLPA assists in implementing treatment plans, collecting data, preparing therapy materials, and supporting students in achieving their speech and language goals in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language intervention services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP.
