Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, test, service, maintain, and repair fire detection and sprinkler systems.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot fire detection control panels.
- Diagnose and rectify system faults, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable system performance.
- Conduct site surveys, assess client requirements, and prepare accurate quotations.
- Plan, coordinate, and successfully deliver installation and maintenance projects.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to Assistant Technicians.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable SANS codes, SAQCC requirements, and health and safety regulations.
- Complete service reports, commissioning documentation, and project records accurately and on time.
- Travel to customer sites and work outside normal business hours when operational requirements demand.
- Deliver professional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
