Position Overview
SAP DBA Consultant
Main Sail LLC is looking for an SAP DBA Consultant for a multi-year SAP production support contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administer SAP HANA and, where required, Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 databases supporting critical SAP workloads.
- Handle installation, patching, upgrades, backup/restore, recovery testing, and database lifecycle management.
- Optimize HANA architecture, memory, performance, and analytical workloads tied to S/4HANA environments.
- Support S/4HANA migrations, RISE-style programs, and hybrid deployment models across on-prem and cloud.
- Implement performance baselines, operational KPIs, and governance for patching, capacity, and platform health.
- Work closely with Basis and infrastructure teams on HA/DR, storage, network dependencies, and incident resolution.
