Salesperson - Timaru (Casual) – Farmlands Cooperative Society, Timaru, NZ.

Overview

We are looking for a motivated salesperson to support our Timaru store.

The role is on a casual basis requiring flexibility across the week. You will report to the Business Manager and focus on providing great service to shareholders in our retail store.

Responsibilities

• Provide retail sales and customer service to shareholders.
• Offer advice on sheep, beef, dry stock and general agricultural products.
• Operate a point of sale (POS) system.
• Help maintain the bulk store.
• Complete administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock.

Qualifications

• Sound background in the farming sector with broad knowledge of products and services.
• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Strong computer skills.
