Anishnawbe G’Zhiitoonegamic (A’Gic), meaning “Peoples Place of Building”, is an indigenous women-led social enterprise located at 300 Archer Drive in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. The enterprise offers a transformative solution to the housing crisis facing Indigenous and Northern communities. Emerging from the Keepers of the Circle and grounded in Indigenous values – A’Gic provides low‑carbon, energy‑efficient modular homes that are not only affordable and climate‑resilient but also culturally grounded and community‑informed.
