Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing and enforcing health, safety and environmental policies to ensure a safe workplace. The role includes conducting site inspections, identifying hazards such as hot work, heavy equipment and confined spaces, and ensuring proper control measures are in place.
• Monitor daily HSE compliance in rolling mill, utility areas, warehouses and material handling areas.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure proper implementation of Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) for high‑risk activities.
• Monitor Lockout Tagout (LOTO) compliance during breakdown and shutdown maintenance.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and enforce safety discipline among workers and contractors.
• Conduct toolbox talks and assist in HSE training and safety awareness programs.
