Elevate safety standards as a Safety & Compliance Coordinator for a major oil and gas client. This fly-in/out role from Edmonton or Calgary involves 12-hour shifts for a short-term turnaround event.
The position targets experienced safety professionals for a 4-5 week turnaround starting in late August. Your responsibilities include promoting safety cultures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must be comfortable in fast-paced construction environments with previous turnaround experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote the client's Safety Management System effectively
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and radiation controls
• Conduct safety inspections and complete Worksite Safety Observations
• Attend and lead area safety meetings and inspections
• Review incident reports and support turnaround teams
