About the unit

3CN/5CN Intermediate Surgical Unit offers a dynamic patient care experience. 3 CN is a ten-bed unit that specializes in general surgery, vascular, and thoracic patients. We are the only progressive care unit in the hospital that can monitor arterial lines. 5 CN is a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery unit. We receive patients directly from the ICU, and we can monitor patients who are on various anti-arrhythmics. 5CN is focused on discharge plan and readiness.
