About Us Birthing Center Located on the first floor at Freeman Hospital West we offer private labor, delivery, and recovery rooms with a variety of labor options for our patients. As one of the busiest maternity centers in Missouri, we've earned the trust of moms-to-be because we provide family-centered care and individual attention in a warm, caring environment. The Birthing Center consists of 9 labor suites, 1 triage rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 2 recovery bays. Come join our highly trained expert team, which includes board-certified obstetricians, highly skilled physicians, midwives, nursing and lactation teams, and anesthesia staff, available 24 hours a day, to care for all patients.
