Description:

Position Summary:Under the direction of the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), the Risk Management and Compliance Attorney provides legal support, as well as analysis and support on the implementation of Federal and State regulations and policies having significant financial, procedural or policy consequences and of major important to the New York City Public Schools (NYCPS), General Counsel, Executive Deputy Counsels, Deputy Counsel, and Senior NYCPS officials, which have the potential for broad impact on the education policy and goals of the school system, with an emphasis on the provisioning and delivery of transportation services. Performs related work.
