Introduction

To execute capital adequacy compliance reviews to ensure that all JSE members are adequately capitalised and provide administrative support to the Capital Adequacy Division on all their required functions to ensure that the capital adequacy information and trade reporting is accurate.

Responsibilities

• Timeous submission of monthly member returns.
• Capital Adequacy returns.
• Ensure that all members who trade in the Equity and Derivative markets submit their returns on time together with trial balances for derivative members.
• Obtain reasons for all late submissions by members in all markets.
• Produce a report for all late submissions on the 13th business day of every month.
