Position Overview
Ride Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Silverwood’s amusement rides. This position requires being comfortable operating heavy machinery, assisting guests on and off of amusement rides, checking safety restraints, enforcing safety policies, understanding instructions both written and verbal, and maintaining awareness of all aspects of operations, including but not limited to monitoring the ride’s performance, occupants, and safety standards. Must be comfortable with standing/ walking for the majority of the shift in an outdoor environment, in addition to repetitive movements.
