Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist

You will be joining a friendly and supportive Rheumatology Department which provides comprehensive Rheumatology services for Derby and Burton together with South Derbyshire/East Staffordshire and some parts of adjoining areas of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

Main duties of the job

• Deliver care to defined case load of patients in an outpatient setting.
• Act as the patient’s advocate – maintaining patient privacy and dignity.
• Provide advice, support and education to patients/significant others.
• Provide advice and support to junior staff and learners.
• Coordinate care with MDT, including consultants, allied health professionals and primary care services.
