KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Rewinder operation Produces correct size reels with good reel build and minimum breaks Ensure enough ancillaries and paper for rewinder operation Checks that all ancillaries used are of acceptable quality Does not make reels with more breaks than allowed by relevant standard Operates crane to transport reels and shafts to and from the rewinder Operate clamp truck to bring reels to rewinder and take finish goods reels to staging area Ensure paper is rewound under correct tension Visually checks quality of paper to ensure no deviations from standard Achieves required production rates without compromising on quality or producing excessive rejects material Record keeping All necessary production records are completed All required details of the rewinder production run are recorded neatly and signed off at the end of the shift Housekeeping Rewinder and surrounding area kept clean Periodically cleans the r...
