JOB TITLE: Retread

A Retread Technician performs functions from inspecting, preparing, and finishing in the remanufacturing of commercial tires in a variety of applications, from package delivery to food service distribution. These technicians are accountable for properly and safely performing a wide variety of services needed for all vehicle/commercial tires.
Job Descriptions:

+ Inspecting and buffing worn tires for remanufacturing.

+ Applying a variety of tread designs to tires prepared for remanufacturing.

+ Finishing of completed product, including the handling and final steps in the remanufacturing process.

+ Quality control of finished product.

+ Tracking and monitoring data associated with the processing of tires throughout the retread process.

+ Observing and complying with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.
