Position Overview
Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides complex nursing care independently as a member of the nursing team by assisting higher graded NAs, licensed nursing staff, and other members of the care team. Provide care under close supervision, learn to perform complex nursing skills, and will refer issues/questions to supervisors, higher graded NAs, licensed nursing staff or other healthcare professionals. Utilize clinical expertise and assist in the solution finding process to improve quality of care. Responsibilities The functions and duties of the Restorative Nursing Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) in the Community Living Center (CLC). RNA assists with maintaining independence in functional mobility and activities of daily living, and to prevent a decline in function.
