Description

The Respiratory Care Practitioner/Sleep Technician performs all duties of Sleep Technologist I and II. This position performs comprehensive sleep testing analysis and comprehensive evaluation and treatment of respiratory related sleep disorders under the general supervision of the clinical director (M.D., D.O., and/or PH.D) or designee. This may involve polysomnography with ventilator and positive airway pressure titrations. Has the ability to complete administrative tasks as well as technical duties. This is a technical position with no supervisory responsibilities but can provide respiratory care guidance to all Polysomnographic Technologist. Essential Job Functions:

Monitors and maintains mechanical ventilator, continuous positive pressure devices, oxygen and humidity devices.

Assesses patients and diagnostic data in order to adjust ventilator and positive airway pressure settings per protocol.
