Position Overview

We are seeking

to appoint a Research Project Scientist to support two complementary initiatives and contribute to their project management and research activities. The first project, the VIE (Vaccine Identity Evaluation), aims to assess the performance of the devices designed, or repurposed to detect falsified and degraded vaccines in both laboratory conditions and a near-to-real-life pharmacy setting in Nigeria. The second, DAFODIL (DAshboard for Field-pOrtable screening Devices using scientific Literature evidence), is an online platform to guide policy makers deciding on screening technologies for post-market surveillance activities. The Medicine Quality Research Group is at the forefront of global efforts to improve our understanding of the epidemiology of substandard and falsified antimicrobials and how we can prevent, detect and respond to them, to improve the quality of the medical products supply.
