As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT.

The primary responsibility of this role is to contribute to an industry innovation research project on developing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for train operations and maintenance.

• Work closely with faculty members, researchers, students, and collaborators on research activities and technology development.
• Support research and development in Artificial Intelligence and related areas for train operations and maintenance.
• Assist in the coordination and management of the research project.
• Coordinate finance tracking, reporting, and communications with industry and research partners.
