The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a newly established interdisciplinary joint school under the College of Engineering and College of Science at NTU Singapore. The Zhong group works at the interface of organometallic and organic chemistry to develop new generations of transition metal catalysts and reagents for novel organic transformations. The group is pursuing development of new generations of transition metal catalysts for asymmetric catalysis and C‑H functionalization.
