Position Overview
Primary Responsibilities - Provide guidance and advice to the chargehands and technicians to ensure repair of the equipment are done accordingly to NOV repair specification and procedure.
- To ensure all equipment are tested as per NOV test procedure or fat documents with the presence of customer representative.
- To ensure all upgrades and PIBs are implemented on the repaired equipment.
- To ensure all necessary aftermarket repair forms (d9 documents) are used for the repair process.
- Communicate and liaise with engineering / qc engineer on any related issue pertaining to repair procedure / upgrades / implementation of PIBs and testing procedure.
- Communicate and liaise with internal machine shop and/or vendors on repair scope of work and necessary WPS etc. for their submission of quotation to NOV
- Compilation of inspection reports and final reports for all repaired / overhauled equipment.
