**Overall Job Summary**

The Registered Veterinary Technician position is responsible for providing preventative veterinary services to all patients belonging to pet parents under the support of an employee veterinarian. The employee veterinarian will be off-site and serve as the veterinarian agent.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)**

+ Deliver high-quality preventative nursing care in a community clinic setting with a strong focus on wellness and preventative medicine.
+ Provide guidance and oversight to veterinary assistants and support staff; foster a collaborative, team-oriented clinic culture.
+ Educate pet parents on preventative health care
+ Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and practice standards.
