Obstetrics - 20 bed unit caring for delivered patients, post-op gyn and stable antepartum. Labor & Delivery - 10 bed, 2 OR high-risk unit with 80-100 deliveries a month. Experienced RN with minimum of 2 years' experience on Labor & Delivery/Maternity. Labor & Delivery will be primary role, must be willing to float to Maternity when needed. 1:1, 1:2 patient ratio. Will not be required to be in charge or precept. Must be willing to float to med/surg to sit for safety sitter patients if not needed on L&D/OB. Must have CPR, NRP, ACLS certifications and be competent with fetal monitor strips. Must have OR experience for C/S. This is a rotation schedule - day/nights, primarily nights. Majority of shifts will be on nights. There may be times where days are needed but will not be placed on both in one week without discussing first. FMLA/LOA
