RN – Wound Care

Schedule: 5x8s, Days 07:00–15:30

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Wound Ostomy Care (WOC) certification required
• BCLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Experience with Peritoneal Dialysis preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform VAC/VAC changes and dressing changes.
• Conduct wound photography and assessments.
• Manage various wound types including pressure, venous, and neuropathic ulcers.
• Execute debridement techniques and appropriate dressing application.
• Provide ostomy care and instruct on catheter management and self-care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 10 hours
• Scrubs: Navy (blue)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Max 7 days RTO within a 13-week contract
