Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
EMR: Meditech
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg night shift contract opportunity in Portales, NM. This role is based in a rural acute care hospital and includes care for adult Med/Surg, pediatric Med/Surg, and PCU-level patients.
Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and PCU patients
• Care for adult and possible pediatric admissions
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Work with typical 5:1 patient ratios and tele-intensivist support
