Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and administer treatments accurately within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and document clinical observations in the EMR system.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, including high oxygen demands, dialysis, and cardiac drips.
• Monitor patients on telemetry, recognizing and responding to arrhythmias and other clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate timely discharges or transfers.
• Maintain compliance with all certifications, including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and state licensing requirements.
• Float to other units as needed, performing tasks within documented competencies and adhering to hospital policies.
