Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Department

Minimum experience: 2 years; 1st timers are accepted. Patient population: Pediatrics to geriatrics. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH; EBRR during NEO week. General skills and work setting requirements: South ED is a free standing facility, 2 miles away from our larger ED. We are full functioning and see a number of diagnosis from lacerations needing repair, abdominal pain, pediatric complaints, mental health evaluations, all the way to stroke alerts and cardiac arrest. Ratio/census: 1:2-3; 11 beds with average daily census of 36. Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR. Scrub color: Navy blue. RTO: MAX 7 days. Weekends: Every other weekend. Floating: Required. Call requirements: None. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
