A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking Registered Nurse for the ED department, for the VA Phoenix, AZ. Night shift available, 1 year contract with possible extension.
Duties and Responsibilities :
RN provides direct and indirect nursing care, by contributing to the patient's assessment, determining priorities, identifying nursing measures and therapeutic objectives and evaluating outcomes. The position requires independent judgment and nursing actions, flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to utilize an interdisciplinary approach in the provision of nursing care.
Obtain patient history and pertinent family history.
Assess patient and plan appropriate nursing care.
Document plan of care and care given in patient's medical record.
Verify transcription of physician's orders, no verbal orders are to be accepted.
Carry out prescribed physician's orders and document inpatient medical record.
