Westonbirt Sports Centre are looking for a recreation assistant/lifeguard to support the safe, effective, and welcoming operation of the School’s Sports Centre, including lifeguard duties for the swimming pool, in line with local and national legislation and best practice guidance.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
Provide lifeguard supervision of the swimming pool, ensuring the safety of all users at all timesWork in accordance with the Normal Operating Procedures (NOP), Emergency Action Plan (EAP), and Specific Incident Management proceduresMaintain a strong awareness of and compliance with best practice and legal requirements for sports centres and swimming poolsConduct and record daily and weekly health and safety checks as requiredCarry out pool water testing in line with NOP guidelines and report any irregularitiesWork within established risk assessments, reporting hazards or concern...
