The Recreation Assistant is passionate about caring for residents, families, and team members. The role focuses on providing opportunities for residents to realize their maximum potential while promoting choice, dignity, and independence through holistic recreation therapy services.

What You Will Do

• Promote service excellence through active participation with the Interdisciplinary Team, achieving and maintaining quality resident care within the scope of Recreation Therapy.
• Provide services as indicated by the Recreation Therapy assessment and resident goals, and inform the Therapist of any changes in resident needs.
• Assist with functional support in mobility, comfort, self‑care, and intellectual stimulation under the Therapist’s direction.
