Recreation Aide - Casual Positions at Arbour Heights. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Recreation Aide assists in the planning, organization and implementation of meaningful programs for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organization, and implementation of meaningful programs for residents, in collaboration with the Recreation Manager and Executive Director.
• Assist with maintenance of department records including assessments, evaluations of planned programs detailing individual participation, charting.
• Maintain effective communication and positive human relations with residents, families, volunteers and staff of other departments, keeping them informed of current and upcoming events.
• Attend in-service education to stay informed of current trends in the total care of the elderly.
• Participate in team meetings to plan programs with residents’ interests in mind.
